This product was a surprise for me. When it arrived, the handle was frozen. On close inspection, several things looked amiss. The instructions were xeroxed, not original. I have another Jado faucet, and the water lines, the attachment prongs (don't know the official term) and other pieces all look very inferior on this. The chrome finish shows finger prints much more easily. I'm not convinced that this is an authentic Jado product. With the frozen handle, it certainly isn't a working product. It is going back one day after receiving it. I bought this through Amazon, not a third party. No questions returning it (thank you Amazon!). But Amazon may need to carefully check if the products they are selling are the real thing.

I'd seen this demonstrated on Bob Villa's show and thought it was the bomb, so when we remodeled, I plumbed the tub filler to the ceiling. Then I tried to save a few bucks by cobbling up my own nozzle/aerator. No good - no matter what I tried, the water splatters all over when it hits the tub from an 8-foot ceiling. So I broke down and bought the Kohler K-923.

This tub filler is excellent - no splatter! It's very well machined and I can see why it cost so much. Take your time and follow the installation directions carefully. You have to run it full-on because at partial flows, it will splatter and not be a perfect clear column of water. Also, despite what it says about only using certain Kohler control valves to get enough flow, I'm using a Moen single handle model and it works fine.

I bought this saw, and put an mk morse 6 1/2" metal cutting blade on it. After a few cuts on 1/8" mild steel, the blade starting sparking when it was cutting instead of just leaving metal files. Apart from that, the cuts I made with the blade appear to be decent in quality. Then I tried to put in Milwaukee's supplied 6 7/8" blade, the blade doesn't fit. I call Milwaukee and apparently that's a known issue. I return the saw to amazon. They send me a new one (good customer service amazon) and not only the same problem but the collet lock is missing. Milwaukee, where is your QA? Am I not buying a quality tool here? Two bad tools in a row, that's pretty pathetic for a professional's tool company. So, I tell Amazon, and they tell me to return the replacement, and they will try to resolve the issue with Milwaukee, and they will get back to me in an indeterminate length of time. So, here I am without a saw I would like to have. I think it's a good saw with some weak points if Milwaukee can build it right. I don't have an opinion on the supplied blade as I could never get it installed on the tool.

I would have loved it if they told me that this would not fit my existing valve. Yes, it says that there is no valve included. But did you know that every shower valve cartridge is unique to the manufacturer? I didn't and so I didn't order the valve. I thought that they would be somewhat universal. Boy was I wrong. Learn from my mistake: The valve cartridge and body will probably not go together even within the same manufacturer. If your unit is a couple of years old, buy the valve that goes with the new unit and replace it when you can. It cost me over $400 more in this DIY project because I did not know this! The downside to this is that a lot of complete sets at Home Depot are half the cost, look just as good, and INCLUDE the VALVE.

I received this faucet the end of July 2010. I have had it for about5-6 weeks. Some of the "oiled bronze finish" is rubbing off on the base of the cold and hot water taps. The spigot seems to be holding up okay. I have not used any cleaners except water and mild dishwashing soap and at that only a couple of times since I got this. The deterioration is happening at the back of the base of the faucets where no one actually ever touches the finish. I am furious that this item from China is so shoddy. It looks beautiful coming out of the box but it does not hold up even under the MILDEST of conditions. Dont buy this!!!!!!!!!

This shower head works fine, but it falls out of the mount very easily. After falling about a dozen times and chipping the shower tile, it finally broke for good. What a waste of money!

My low rating is not so much for the operation of the product but for the advertisement. I have yet to install the item but the add says "Wall Mount". The fine print description says "shower mount". Use caution, this item is a 'Shower Mount' hand shower. If you need a "Wall Mount' hand shower (as I did), try the #56513 not the 56613. Too bad I didn't pick up on it before I spent my time and money on it.

We had this faucet installed when we built the house 6 years ago. We thought Kohler was bullet proof, so how could we go wrong? Well, we did. It started leaking below the handle a while ago, and I finally got some time this weekend to pull it apart. The valve cartridge was fine, and I could tell the leak was from the water leaking past the upper O ring. Problem is, the O ring looked fine, and hadn't deteriorated a bit. I was going to try some plumbers grease to see if it would make a better seal, but before I put it back together, I ran across the reviews here and at other sites. Apparently this type of leak is quite common for this model. Kohler should of put two O rings at the top and bottom, or redesigned it some other way to protect against leaks. Even worse, from reading reviews of other Kohler faucets, it appears that similarly designed Kohler faucets suffer from the same leak problem. After reading all the negative reviews, I decided it wasn't worth trying to repair the faucet, and instead ordered a Grohe from Amazon. I hope I have better luck with it.

I should also mention that there is no gasket provided that fits between the bottom of the faucet body and the top of the counter, so any shifting of the faucet might tend to scratch the counter top (as it did to our Corian top). Also, the only way to completely seal the bottom so there is no way water can get underneath the faucet body is to jam the bottom full of plumbers putty (hardly an elegant solution).

I recommend this faucet to anyone who likes the way it looks,as I do, and does not need to use it. As long as you do not turn on the water, it does not leak. If you need to use this as a faucet, I do not recommend it. I leaks horribly and when I tried to get Kohler to make good on the warranty it would only send weird looking parts with no instructions. The plumber said it would cost three times the price of a new faucet to try to fix it and he said he did not think it would really stop leaking. I finally bought another faucet--but not a Kohler!!

I've gone through two of these, and both have failed. I 100% agree with both other reviewers. Terrible product. I've had the original repaired, then replaced. Wasted money hiring a plumber and buying replacement parts as well as a whole new faucet thinking the first one was a lemon. Please do not waste your money. It WILL leak within a year, guaranteed!
